A new Civiqs poll revealed which Republican leaders are held in high regard among registered voters.
Leading GOP representatives in the poll include Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, former President Donald Trump, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, and former Vice President Mike Pence. Republican voters were asked:
"REPUBLICANS: Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of...?"
Ron DeSantis received "favorable opinion" from 89% of respondents. Following were: Greg Abbott (72%), Donald Trump (72%), Nikki Haley (59%), and Mike Pence (41%).

Ron DeSantis
Among all respondents, 46% rated their opinion of Florida's governor "favorable." Meanwhile, 47% marked their opinion as "unfavorable," and 7% were not sure.
By political party, only 5% of Democrats have a favorable opinion of the governor. In contrast, 89% of Republicans and 49% of independents have a favorable opinion of DeSantis.
Sorted by race, whites are the group with the most favorable opinion of DeSantis (54%); followed by Hispanics/Latinos (34%) and blacks (12%). Of the voters who identified themselves as "other," 41% have a favorable opinion of the governor.
Greg Abbott
Among all voters, 33% have a favorable opinion of the Texas governor. Meanwhile, 46% held an unfavorable opinion; and 21% were unsure.
Just 3% of Democrats have a favorable opinion of the governor. In contrast, a vast majority of Republicans (72%) and roughly one-third (33%) of Independents have a favorable opinion of Abbott.
By race, whites have most favorable opinion (40%), followed by Hispanics/Latinos (25%) and blacks (8%). Of the voters who identified themselves as "other," 29% had a favorable opinion of the governor.
Donald Trump
Among all respondents, 34% have a favorable opinion of the former president. Some 58% have an unfavorable opinion, and 8% are unsure what they think about Trump.
Breaking down the group of registered voters showed that only 2% of Democrats have a favorable opinion of the former president. A majority of Republicans (71%) and a third (33%) of independents have a favorable opinion of Trump.
Split by race, whites are the group with the most favorable opinion of Trump (40%); followed by Hispanics/Latinos (27%) and blacks (7%).
Nikki Haley
The former governor of South Carolina was rated favorably from 29% of those polled. Meanwhile, 46% held an unfavorable opinion, and 25% were unsure of their opinion of Haley.
Only 5% of Democrats said they have a favorable opinion of Haley. Among Republicans, her popularity is waning, with just over half (58%) rating her favorably. Just 27% of independents said they have a favorable opinion of the former governor.
Divided by ethnic group, whites were the group with the most favorable opinion (34%); followed by Hispanics/Latinos (19%) and blacks (9%). Of the voters who identified themselves as "other," 23% rated her favorably.
Mike Pence
The former vice president has a favorable opinion from just 21% of respondents overall. Meanwhile, 63% said they have an unfavorable opinion, and 15% were unsure what they think of Pence.
Only 7% of Democrats reported having a favorable opinion of the governor. As with Haley, Pence also does not enjoy strong support from his party's voters, with only 41% of Republicans marking a favorable opinion of him. Nineteen percent of independents rated Pence favorably.
By race, whites were the group with the most favorable opinion of Pence (25%), followed by Hispanics/Latinos (14%) and blacks (10%). Of the voters who identified themselves as "other," 17% held a favorable opinion of the former vice president.
