The former president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, distrusted COVID-19 vaccines and, therefore, used a false vaccination certificate in order to enter the United States without ever having had any doses of the vaccine.

As part of an investigation into alleged data fraud by the Brazilian Ministry of Health, the Comptroller General’s Office discovered that Bolsonaro’s vaccination certificate could not be located in Sao Paulo. This led to a deeper investigation that concluded that the former president used a false card to gain entry to the North American country during the pandemic.

Bolsonaro’s vaccine skepticism

The former president had already made it clear in the past that he did not trust the effectiveness of the vaccines. He stated on several occasions that he would never administer doses against the virus and spoke openly about the possible side effects of the vaccines.

The risks of vaccines

Several years into the pandemic, several reports have highlighted the health risks caused by the vaccines against the virus.

One of those who warned about the problems that vaccines could cause was the Surgeon General of the State of Florida, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, who stated that COVID-19 vaccines “are contaminated with foreign DNA” that could cause cancer.

Researchers have also linked vaccines to increases in blood pooling in the retina that can lead to severe problems, including vision loss.

A study from the Cleveland Clinic even warned after a study that the higher the number of vaccine doses, the higher the risk of contracting coronavirus.

Pfizer accused of “misrepresenting” the effectiveness of the vaccine

In late 2023, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against Pfizer, Inc. for distorting data on the effectiveness of their vaccines against COVID-19. According to the statement, “Pfizer engaged in false, deceptive, and misleading acts and practices by making unsupported claims regarding the company’s COVID-19 vaccine in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.”

The lawsuit also accuses the pharmaceutical giant of conspiring to censor anyone who questioned the effectiveness of its vaccines.

CDC omitted cases of deaths linked to vaccine

As if all of the above were not enough, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) acknowledged that they ignored COVID-19 vaccines as a cause of death. On many occasions, they even attributed deaths to the virus that weren’t necessarily related.
