The Thunder make history: Here's the NBA's list of winners

Oklahoma City wrote its name, for the first time, on the list of NBA winners.

After an impeccable season, the Oklahoma City Thunder made history by winning their first Ring—not counting the one they achieved when they were the Seattle SuperSonics—, defeating the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Finals of the 2024-2025 season with a 4-3 overall record. Thus, they add their name to the long list of franchises that have at least one Larry O'Brien Trophy in their trophy cases.
