A New York poet and left-wing activist was stabbed to death by a deranged stranger while he was walking with his girlfriend
The victim, Ryan Carson, was violently attacked in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The New York Post tabloid revealed a shocking video showing how a poet and leftist activist was stabbed to death by a deranged stranger while he was walking with his girlfriend.
The victim, Ryan Carson, 32, was walking in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn when a stranger began to approach him for no apparent reason, saying, "What the f--k are you looking at?"
Carson responded that he was not looking at anything, trying to calm the aggressor, who became more and more aggressive as he approached.
"I'm going to kill you!" the murderer began to shout. At that point, Carson practically begged him to calm down.
Subsequently, the stranger began to attack the victim, stabbing him several times in the chest and even threatening to attack Carson's girlfriend, who looked horrified during the entire event.
Another woman approached the scene and asked the attacker not to hurt Carson.
The woman also appeared to shout the name “Brian” and, according to the New York Post, the police hypothesize that the suspect and the woman knew each other before the crime.
The New York tabloid explained that the video cuts off just as the girlfriend kneels near Carson's body. At that time she held him in her arms until he was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center seriously injured. However, at that moment nothing could be done, as the stab wounds had pierced his heart.
The attack took place on Lafayette Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, near the Bedford-Nostrand avenues train station, in Brooklyn.
The Post reported that, up to this point, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder, but a “Wanted” poster with a close-up of the suspect has already begun to circulate.
Another detail is that the authorities have not yet found the murder weapon, which was initially thrown by the suspect in the trash, but later returned to recover it.
Poet and left-wing activist
Various media outlets are already publishing details about the life and history of Ryan Carson, who, in addition to being a poet, was a political activist who focused mostly on sustainability and environmental policies.
However, Carson was also in favor of safe injection sites throughout New York, according to The Post Millennial, which described the victim as a left-wing activist.
“I’m passionate about safe injection facilities because I’ve seen family members become addicted to opioids prescribed for pain caused by their occupations,” Carson said in 2021. "I’ve lost friends and family to the opioid epidemic, including my best friend, who died of a heroin overdose in 2016."
According to journalist Andy Ngo, Carson's girlfriend, Claudia V. Morales, is a Black Lives Matter activist who is against the police.
“She was at a BLM riot in Boston in 2020, blaming police for violence when they tried to arrest rioters,” Ngo reported.
