Las Vegas police have arrested a second juvenile suspected of being involved in the intentional hit-and-run that ended the life of Andreas Probst, while riding his bicycle. Tattoos, clothing and reviewing videos of the incident were the key factors that led to the identification and arrest of the minor. Clark County District Attorney, Steven Wolfson, declared his intention to have both teens tried in adult court.

Police suspect that the suspects ran over another cyclist before Probst

As with the arrest of the main suspect days earlier, the identity of the second suspect has also been withheld from the public as he is reported to be a minor. According to investigators, this is the individual who was traveling as a passenger in the vehicle.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, both young men face open murder charges. In addition, the agents' investigations indicate that both subjects were involved in another hit-and-run case involving a cyclist just prior to Probst's murder.

"Justice will be done"

For his part, District Attorney Wolfson noted that he has a "personal interest" in this event and will approach it as "an important case." As a first step, he signaled his intention for both suspects to be tried in adult court. "I am sure that is what is going to happen in this case. Justice will be done in this case. I have a personal interest in this case. I get involved in important cases and this is one of them," he noted.

For now, both teens will be held at the county Juvenile Detention Center.
