Santiago Abascal closes the IV Iberosphere Summit: 'The people are waking up, more and more compatriots are raising their voices'
"A new era of hope, dignity, and rebuilding begins" expressed the leader of the Spanish political party Vox, who denounced that the left continues to advance in its plan to end the freedoms of citizens.

Santiago Abascal
Santiago Abascal, president of Spain's Vox party, closed the IV Iberosphere Summit. He did so with a message to the tyrants: "Your time is over." The conservative leader is convinced that patriotic forces are awakening around the world and socialism is beginning to collapse.
Abascal's speech was centered on the values of Hispanicity and recalled Spain's contributions to Spanish America. He argued that socialism and the enemies of the West seek to do away with history in order to impose ideas that go against freedom and prosperity.
However, Abascal is optimistic about the future and believes that hispanidad "is not a memory, it is a living reality."
"It is not only a community of origin, it is a community of destiny with a language, a culture and shared values that are increasingly stronger in the world and are spreading. We are seeing this in the United States with the election of Donald Trump where Hispanics have played a determining role."
In that sense, he referred to how the regimes in Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Bolivia violate human rights, kidnap and persecute opponents and how these tyrannies have become criminal organizations to put an end to the freedoms of Hispanics.
Also, he denounced the situation in Colombia, under the socialist government of Gustavo Petro, and also remarked how Claudia Sheinbaum put as "judges the drug lawyers." He also referred to Sheinbaum's insistence that Spain apologize for its history.
He also condemned the situation in Colombia under the socialist government of Gustavo Petro and criticized Claudia Sheinbaum for appointing “narco-lawyers” as judges. Additionally, he denounced Sheinbaum’s repeated calls for Spain to apologize for its colonial past.

"Spain does not have to ask for forgiveness. Spain did not destroy, it built. Not only great works and infrastructures but a brotherhood of nations united by language, by faith and by the same ideal of greatness," Abascal expressed.
For the conservative leader, the threat of these regimes does not remain in Ibero-America. He warned that in Europe, socialists/communists are also carrying out actions to curtail and kidnap freedoms on both sides of the Atlantic.
"The danger is not only on the other side of the Atlantic. The danger is also here. Here are its brains and characters as sinister as the extreme left of Podemos and as José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero. Spain has fallen into the hands of an unscrupulous socialism," Abascal explained.
The summit
It was a meeting promoted by the Spanish political party Vox and the group Patriots for Europe, which brings together sovereign leaders from Europe, Latin America and the United States to strengthen cooperation against the advance of socialism and organized crime.
"The people are waking up"
Despite the advances of the left, Abascal is convinced that more and more patriots are willing to defend Western and Hispanic values. Thus, he insists that this is a new time full of hope.
"The people are waking up, more and more compatriots are raising their voices in the face of abandonment, insecurity and lies. A new time of hope, dignity and reconstruction is opening," said the Spanish deputy.
