Javier Milei has become the world's first libertarian president. The eyes of millions of people who understand economic liberalism as the only option to achieve prosperity are focused on what may happen in Argentina after Milei's triumph. However, winning the presidency is just one of the many challenges that the libertarian has to lead his country toward the path of freedom. In today's podcast, we speak with philosophy professor Gabriel Zanotti about what's coming for the Latin American country.

Regarding the possible measures that Milei may carry out, Professor Zanotti asks the public not to expect issues that are unattainable in just one term of government and to remember that by simply passing a few important measures, we would already be talking about a significant change for Argentina. He highlights that Milei does not have a majority in Congress and will need to seek alliances with other sectors that are not radical but want to work together after the major victory that the libertarian obtained in the elections.

"Only God knows how Milei is going to handle that," says Zanotti in reference to Argentina's ungovernability. It is not only about seeking alliances in Congress but also about the attacks and security problems that Milei could face. Movements and protests organized by groups with a lot of power and history in Argentina will be one of the problems facing the future president. How he will deal with security issues in a country in which Peronism attacks the other side and accuses it of moving towards a military dictatorship, like the one experienced under General Videla, is vital to his staying in power.

In today's podcast, we talk about Argentine society and how prepared it is to assimilate the coming economic changes, as well as the attacks that Milei is possibly going to receive from Peronism. In addition, we will discuss the measures he can take to move forward and his priorities.
