At least nine people were injured in a shooting that occurred in Denver during the Denver Nuggets' celebrations after winning their first-ever NBA championship. According to the Denver Police Department, the incident occurred at a nightclub near the place where the fans were celebrating the team's title.
Three of the injured are in critical condition. In addition, authorities confirmed that a suspect was detained who also suffered gunshot wounds.

Although the investigation continues, the Denver Police Department reported in its latest update that "multiple shots were fired during an altercation involving several individuals."
