This Wednesday, the House of Representatives passed a bipartisan resolution condemning all forms of sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas terrorists during and after the October 7 massacre in Israel. The only Congresswoman to vote "present" was radical leftist for Michigan, Rashida Tlaib.
The resolution introduced by Rep. Lois Frankel, D-Florida, received solid support with 418 votes in favor and none against, reflecting the House's commitment to condemning the terrorist group's violent acts and reaffirming U.S. support for Israel.
"Our bipartisan resolution says it loud and clear: rape and sexual violence are crimes against humanity and should never be used or accepted as weapons of war," Frankel said, noting the difficulty of addressing the terrorist group's actions.
"Raping, mutilating and burning to inflict psychological pain and unleashing trauma that continues to plague a grieving Israel (...) Shockingly and alarmingly, Hamas' violence has been met with a shrug from many corners in the world, and many deny it. Such weapons have been used throughout history and around the world to terrorize and traumatize victims, but that doesn't make it OK. It must never be normalized," the Democratic representative said.

However, Tlaib did not agree to pass the resolution, which also urges international bodies to unequivocally condemn violent acts committed by Hamas and other terrorists since October 7.
The leftist argued that the resolution "completely ignores and erases any sexual violence committed" allegedly by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), although these claims are baseless.
Since the Hamas massacre, the member of the radical Democratic Party group has faced criticism for her attacks on the Jewish community. Her statements earned her the title of 'Anti-Semite of the Year' in 2023 from the non-partisan StopAntisemitism organization.
Tlaib has not only called the IDF's counter-offensives a "genocide" but has directly branded Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a "genocidal maniac."
Recently, it was also discovered that the representative is a member of a secret group called the Palestinian American Congress, where the "glorification" of Hamas terrorists has been noted. In addition, Tlaib has been linked to six Hamas-linked activists who acted as co-hosts at fundraisers for her 2018 congressional campaign.
