Wyndham Clark was proclaimed champion of the 123rd edition of the U.S. Open on Sunday, winning his first major title and beating rivals such as Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Smith and Tommy Fleetwood.

Clark went into the final day as co-leader of the tournament held in Los Angeles and signed for par in the last round. He finally took the victory with a total of -10. Rory McIlroy with -9 and Scottie Scheffler with -7 rounded out the podium. Spain's Jon Rahm closes the Top 10 tied with Xander Schauffele and Dustin Johnson, all with -3.

This is now my second win on the PGA Tour, and the first one [at last month’s Wells Fargo Championship] was surreal and this one is surreal (...) It hasn’t quite hit me yet. It’s been a whirlwind the last five, six weeks. Just so blessed and humbled to be here.
