Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy announced his willingness to withdraw from the Colorado Republican Party primary ballot following the state Supreme Court's historic ruling, which declared Donald Trump ineligible for the office of president.
Ramaswamy posted a statement through his X account, expressing his rejection of the Colorado Supreme Court's recent decision to ban Trump from appearing on Colorado's presidential primary ballot next year.
"This is what an actual attack on democracy looks like: an un-American, unconstitutional and unprecedented decision," said the presidential candidate.
The candidate highlighted that after several failed attempts to prevent Trump from presenting his candidacy in the 2024 elections, this new tactic of election interference is "to silence political opponents and swing the election for whatever puppet the Democrats put up."
Due to all of the above, Ramaswamy announced his commitment to withdraw from the Colorado primary until Trump can be reinstated.

In the statement, the candidate also urged the other Republican candidates to do the same and expressed the opinion that failure to do so would imply tacit support for the "illegal" maneuver of the Colorado Supreme Court.
"The Framers of the 14th Amendment would be appalled to see this narrow provision—intended to bar former U.S. officials who switched to the Confederacy from seeking public office—being weaponized by a sitting President and his political allies to prevent a former President from seeking reelection. Our country is becoming unrecognizable to our Founding Fathers," he said after the court invoked Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to bar Trump's candidacy.
