Rikkie Valerie Kollé was crowned Miss Nederland 2023 (Miss Netherlands 2023) this Saturday at the AFAS Theater in Leusden (The Netherlands). He is a 22-year-old transgender model who succeeds Ona Moody and will represent the Netherlands at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant which will be held this year in El Salvador.

Nathalie Mogbelzada, 26, was named first runner-up, while Habiba Mostafa and Lou Dirchs were awarded Miss Congeniality and Miss Social Media, respectively. The current Miss Universe, R'Bonney Gabriel, from the USA, attended the event as a special guest.
He is the first transgender man to win the national title and will be the second trans representative at the Miss Universe pageant after Spain's Angela Ponce, who participated in 2018.
