Rashida Tlaib calls Netanyahu a "genocidal maniac"

The Democrat made the comments on Instagram even though she has already been censored by her colleagues in Congress for pro-Hamas comments.

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib insisted on calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a "genocidal maniac." The Democrat's comments on her Instagram account came despite the fact that she was recently censored by her colleagues due to her opinions in favor of the terrorist group Hamas.

Tlaib is part of the well-known group of far-left legislators in the US Congress, the Squad. This group has publicly expressed its opposition to the defense of Israel.

“Genocidal maniac. Every member of Congress who sits down with this murderer is supporting a war criminal,” she wrote in an Instagram story reviewed by Jerusalem Post.

In that sense, Tlaib maintained that she does not agree with the foreign policy of the United States regarding the war between Hamas and Israel. "I am so sick and tired of our country funding and supporting a genocide and war on children. Please don’t stop talking about Palestine," Tlaib stressed.

She then continued to post several messages attacking Israel. Furthermore, she said that there is a campaign to hide that the "Israeli Government is committing genocide."

Censorship of Rashida Tlaib

In November, the House of Representatives voted to censor Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who made a series of hateful comments against Israel. The vote was 234 to 188, after 22 Democrats joined 212 Republicans who voted in favor of the motion.

Although the vote of no confidence is mostly a symbolic measure of reprimand, it is a formal wake-up call for her antisemitic comments.

Tlaib is the only Palestinian-American in Congress, she has always expressed her opposition to the Israeli Government; However, after the war caused by the terrorist group Hamas, she has issued phrases that even her Democratic colleagues considered antisemitic.
