Former NFL Indianapolis Colts player Matt Ulrich has died at the age of 41 from undisclosed causes. Franchise owner Jim Irsay confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter):

I have been heartbroken to hear of the passing of Matt Ulrich. Matt was with us only two seasons, but he left his mark on many. Great guy, I hear he was a great dad---and he was a Super Bowl champ. My prayers to his family.

Ulrich was with the Colts when they won Super Bowl LXI in 2007 led by star quarterback Peyton Manning.

After retiring from professional sports, he founded a technology company called DexaFit and was a member of the board and partner of the consulting firm Profitable Ideas Exchange.
