Iran begins construction on new nuclear reactor

The Islamic regime's goal is to reach a production capacity of more than 20,000 megawatts before 2041.

Vice president of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami announced that the country is beginning construction on a new nuclear reactor.

It will be the fourth one available to the Islamic regime. One is already in operation and a second - which will have a capacity of around 5,000 megawatts - is being built in the city of Bushehr. A third is in the planning phase.

Eslami claimed that this fourth nuclear reactor, which will be located in the city of Ispahan, will produce industrial radioisotopes and process medicines, in addition to carrying out fuel tests, as reported by Breitbart. "Today, the process of pouring concrete for the foundation of the reactor started at the Isfahan site," the official said.

The Islamist regime hopes to "reach the production capacity of 20,000 megawatts of nuclear power in the country by the year 2041," Eslami stated. The country is promoting this type of energy.
