Benjamin Satterley, a professional wrestling star known as 'Pac,' dies at age 40

British professional wrestler Benjamin Satterley, known in the ring as "Pac" and formerly as Adrian Neville, died at age 40, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) confirmed on Sunday.

"All Elite Wrestling regrets to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac," the company said in a statement. AEW noted that the athlete, born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, began his career in 2004 and competed in professional wrestling organizations around the world.

The circumstances of his death have not been disclosed, according to Fox News. The outlet noted that Pac competed just one day earlier, on Saturday, against Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship at the All Out event held in Chicago.

One of the first wrestlers to join All Elite Wrestling

Satterley was one of the first wrestlers to join All Elite Wrestling in 2019. During his time with the company, he was a two-time World Tag Team Champion and became the first AEW All-Atlantic Champion.

Before joining AEW, he had an outstanding career in WWE, where he wrestled under the name Adrian Neville. There, he was NXT Champion, two-time NXT Tag Team Champion and two-time Cruiserweight Champion, according to Fox News.

AEW highlighted Satterley's ability to captivate audiences with his aerial moves and in-ring skills and extended its condolences to "his family, friends and fans."
