Rocket Man: Domino's new way to deliver a pizza on time

Domino's Pizza decided to debut its new form of delivery during the Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom. Elton John was performing there, and there was nothing better for the pizza company than to debut Rocket Man, its new jet suit in which a rocket man delivers pizzas through the air, during the event:

The suit first appeared last week, as a prelude to the British singer's concert on Sunday. Designed jointly by Domino's Pizza and Gravity Industries, the jet pack, worth thousands of pounds, began delivering pizzas to the stunned onlookers who had come to the Somerset festival. "Seeing a jet suit thing fly over Glasto was wild. I’ve never seen a jet suit, let alone one delivering pizzas. I can’t wait to see one land on my doorstep in the future," assured Natalie Dixon, a festival attendee to the Herald Wales.

The idea of the jet suit was clear from the beginning and always associated with the Glastonbury festival and especially with the performance of Elton John, also known as Rocket Man. This was explained by a Domino's representative, Sam Wilson:

When we realized it would be impossible to serve pizza slices inside the festival, we drew inspiration from this year’s headliner to launch our own rapid delivery trial – it was a bit of a no brainer. Every year, we receive numerous random requests from festival-goers attempting to sneak pizza into the party. Therefore, this year, we aimed to take a gigantic leap forward and test our very own rocket man service, ensuring that hungry campers can experience sky-high satisfaction in the future.

It remains to be seen whether the delivery method will remain a trial for the Glastonbury festival or whether, in time, it will be commonplace to see suit jets arriving on door steps to deliver an order.
