Tragedy nearly struck in Italian soccer. After the game played between Taranto and Foggia of Serie C, the Italian third division, in which the home team won 2-0, the most radical fans of the visiting team set fire to the stadium, rendering the south grandstand unusable.
The fire prompted the immediate evacuation of the stadium. However, the incident did not stop there. According to Infobae, around 250 Foggia fans began to throw rocks at the fire trucks that came to put out the flames.
