Trump: Biden's pardons are "void, vacant and of no further force or effect" as they were signed with autopen
The president claims his predecessor did not actually sign them and "knew nothing about them" and warned members of the Jan. 6 House of Representatives Committee that they "are the subject of investigation at the highest level."

Biden and Kamala hold up the pen after the president signed a bill into law
Donald Trump has announced that he is opening a new front in his confrontation with those involved in the "witch hunt" against him during Joe Biden's presidency. In a post on his Truth Social account, Trump stated that the pardons signed by the Democrat during the final stages of his term are "void, vacant, and of no further force or effect," claiming they were signed with an autopen rather than being handwritten by the former president.
"Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he knew nothing about them!"
The president has seized on the residue left by the Heritage Foundation investigation, which indicated that most of the rules signed by his predecessor were autopen-signed and not personally initialed by him, who, in many cases, didn't even know those documents had been sanctioned in his name.
"Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he did not know anything about them! The necessary Pardoning Documents were not explained to, or approved by, Biden. He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime."
Notice to the Jan. 6 Select Committee: "They are subject to investigation at the highest level"
While Trump is targeting all pardons, in the release he especially addresses "Unselect Committee of Political Thugs" that investigated on January 6 in the House of Representatives:
"Therefore, those on the Unselect Committee, who destroyed and deleted ALL evidence obtained during their two year Witch Hunt of me, and many other innocent people, should fully understand that they are subject to investigation at the highest level. The fact is, they were probably responsible for the Documents that were signed on their behalf without the knowledge or consent of the Worst President in the History of our Country, Crooked Joe Biden!"
Missouri attorney general already called for investigation into autopen-signed rules
Although Trump has not explained what avenue he intends to use to meet his challenge, Missouri Attorney General, Andrew Bailey, has already blazed a trail by asking the Justice Department for an investigation into the documents signed by Biden, noting that, if confirmed to be made with autopen, "these executive orders, pardons and all other actions are unconstitutional and legally void."
