Doubts about who was truly in control of the country during the Biden administration grew after the Oversight Project of the Heritage Foundation revealed that dozens of documents were signed with an autopen rather than by hand.

The Oversight Project claimed in an X thread that, after reviewing dozens of official documents requiring the former president's signature, "all used the same autopen signature, except for the announcement that the former president was dropping out of the race last year." The thread proceeds to show images of both signatures, highlighting the clear differences.

Missouri attorney general calls for DOJ investigation

The implications of this discovery are significant, as it could raise questions about whether it was truly Biden—given his known cognitive and mental health problems—who signed several of the controversial and radical executive orders, particularly those at the end of his term.

This is the view of Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, who has formally requested an investigation from the DOJ to clarify what happened and determine whether it was truly the former president who signed those documents.

"I am demanding the DOJ investigated whether President Biden’s cognitive decline allowed unelected staff to push through radical policy without his knowing approval. If true, these executive orders, pardons, and all other actions are unconstitutional and legally void."

Mike Johnson claimed that Biden had no recollection of signing the suspension of LNG exports

The organization further fueled the doubts by recovering an interview with Speaker Mike Johnson, in which he revealed that he faced difficulties accessing the former president’s team and even stated that he did not remember signing an executive order suspending LNG exports.
