Although Joe Biden still appears to be the Democrats' favored candidate for the 2024 election, a report reveals that he is the country's most unpopular president in the last seven decades.

Estimates from several polls show how dissatisfied Americans are with Biden's job as the nation's leader, ranking him below the last 13 presidents who have held the presidency, The Epoch Times reports.

FiveThirtyEight's analysis even shows how after the first year in office (as of the 509th day in office), the current president's popularity fell below Donald Trump's in the same period and remained there for more than two months.

Lacks the physical and mental capabilities

It is not only the president's policy decisions that affect Biden's popularity in the upcoming elections, as recently another poll also showed that most Americans do not believe that the president is fit to run the country for a second term.

The poll showed that nearly seven out of ten respondents (68%) do not believe Biden is physically or mentally capable of continuing to lead the country.

"I think that we can all be very clear... that if you vote for Joe Biden, you really are counting on a President Harris because the idea that he would make it until 86 years old is not something that I think is likely," opined Nikki Haley, who is vying for the nomination as the Republican presidential candidate.

The historical lows of the vice president

Kamala Harris' popularity is not much better than that of Joe Biden. In fact, a recent poll shows that the approval rating of the second in command is the worst in the last three decades.

With only 32% approval and a 49% unfavorable opinion, Harris' net rating stands at -17, a much lower number than those of Mike Pence, Joe Biden, Dick Cheney and Al Gore when they held the vice presidency.
