Elon Musk to endorse Ron DeSantis for the 2024 election

This is not the Twitter owner's first display of support for the Florida Governor. He also stated that he will not vote for the Democratic Party again.

Elon Musk said he would support Ron DeSantis should he run in the 2024 presidential election. Through his Twitter account, the new owner of the social network responded to a user's question about whether he would support DeSantis' candidacy to be the next President of the United States:

- Would you support Ron DeSantis in 2024, Elon?
- Yes.

In June, Elon Musk already made it clear that Ron DeSantis is his early preference to be President of the United States in 2024:

- What are you leaning towards?
- DeSantis.

Musk stated that in the 2020 presidential election he voted for Joe Biden, although he acknowledged in May that he would not vote Democratic again:

As a reminder, I was a significant supporter of the Obama-Biden presidency and (reluctantly) voted for Biden over Trump. But Twitter as a platform must be fair to all. In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party. But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican.
