Singer Britney Spears said that she will "never return to music industry" after several reports spread in recent days pointing to a possible return of the Mississippi-born singer to recording studios.
Several media outlets reported that Spears was looking for songwriters for what would be her tenth studio album. However, the pop princess described this information as "trash." The singer stressed that she only wrote music for fun and revealed on Instagram that she had written more than 20 songs for other people in the last two years, but that she will "never" return to the music industry.
The singer's post was accompanied by the Guido Reni renaissance painting entitled Salome Bearing the Head of St John the Baptist.
In recent times, Britney Spears has been the subject of numerous about her state of health, especially mental. Late last year, the queen of pop published a memoir titled The Woman in Me in which she revealed numerous personal traumas from her childhood in Louisiana to her current romances and heartbreaks.
