Wall Street opens steady, with caution ahead of inflation data release

(AFP) The New York Stock Exchange opened close to even on Monday, awaiting new inflation data and with investors also keeping an eye on developments on the geopolitical front.
In early trading, the Dow Jones index was up 0.07%, the Nasdaq advanced 0.04% and the S&P 500 was up 0.04%.
