The Claremont Institute's Center for the American Way of Life unveiled a new database that tracks and reveals the amount of funding the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement has received from corporations or independent donors from 2020 to the present:
The Center for the American Way of Life is pleased to announce the creation of our Black Lives Matter Funding Database. This online dashboard tracks corporate contributions and pledges to the BLM movement and related causes.
Users can search the database filtering by contributors, recipients and the location of the contributor’s headquarters. The table shows that BLM and its related organizations have received more than $82.9 billion.

Amazon, Apple and Adidas are some of the companies that have donated money to the BLM movement
Major corporations and well-known companies worldwide have contributed billions to the BLM movement and related causes. Some of them did not disclose how much money they donated. However, the table includes several well-known companies that contributed hundreds of millions. They include:
- Bank of America: $18.5 billion
- BlackRock: $810 million.
- Adidas: $120 million.
- Amazon: $169.5 million.
- American Express: $50 million.
- Apple: $100 million.
- IBM: $252 million.
- Kellogg: $91 million.
- Microsoft: $244.6 million.
- PGA Tour: $100 million.
- Warner Bros. Discovery: $115 million.
NewsWeek blames BLM for exerting "pressure, harassment and moral blackmail" on companies to contribute financially to their cause. They claim that many of the campaigns by the organization represent "arguably the most lucrative extortion in the history of U.S. business."
The BLM movement achieved worldwide recognition after the looting, vandalism and homicides that were carried out after the death of the criminal George Floyd.
