At least 40 civilians were reportedly killed after an airstrike on a market in Sudan's capital, Khartoum. A local volunteer group issued statements that were later reported by Reuters. The group said it was the deadliest attack since the war began in April.
The same source said that the Army was behind the attack that left a dozen wounded. However, the army blames its opponent, the paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces (RSF) who, in turn, blames the army.

The paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces (RSF) took up arms almost five months ago claiming to want to unblock the political situation in the country. Since then, several countries, including the United States, have evacuated their embassies and civilians.
