The Rolling Stones are set to release a new album. On Wednesday, they premiered the project’s first single in London, titled "Angry." The new album will be called "Hackney Diamonds" and will be the British band’s first studio album in 18 years.
It will also be the band's first album without drummer Charlie Watts, who passed away in August 2021. However, two of the 12 songs that make up "Hackney Diamonds" were recorded with Watts. Guitarist Keith Richards said in statements to Los 40, "We miss him very much":

During the premiere, which featured late night host Jimmy Fallon, The Rolling Stones announced that "Hackney Diamonds" will be released on Oct. 20. The event also featured the premiere of the first snippets of the “Angry” music video. The video stars "Euphoria" (HBO) actress Sydney Sweeney, who said during the premiere that she "didn't know it was going to be the first single, but I loved the song when I heard it. It's been stuck in my head."
