The Pentagon requests a budget of $114 million to spend in 2024 on its woke diversity and inclusion agenda

If the request is approved, it is estimated that the department will disburse a total of $269.2 million over three years.

The Department of Defense (DOD) plans to allocate more than $114 million to fund diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) initiatives in fiscal year 2024.

The Department's Strategic Management Plan from fiscal year 2022 to 2026 indicates that the president's 2024 budget request includes $114.7 million waiting to be distributed among the Military Departments, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion of the OSD and the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute, to invest in programs and DEIA initiatives.

"Leaders at all levels are responsible for fostering a climate of inclusion that supports diversity, is free from problematic behaviors, and does not tolerate retaliation or reprisal against those filing complaints," the document states.

Despite the magnitude of this investment, specific details of the DEIA initiatives that will take place in fiscal year 2024 have not yet been revealed.

The vast expenditure to promote the DEIA agenda

Notably, the DOD request represents a significant increase over previous years. In fiscal year 2022, the DOD allocated $68 million for DEIA initiatives, while in fiscal year 2023, that figure increased to $86.5 million, according to reporting by the Daily Wire.

Should the funding request be approved as part of the final legislation, the department is estimated to disburse a total of $269.2 million in fiscal years 2022, 2023, and 2024. This represents an annual average of approximately $89.7 million solely dedicated to diversity and inclusion programs.

"Our military is not focused on lethality. They're focused on diversity and climate. That's going to result in our enemies not fearing us and respecting us as they should," criticized Florida Republican Representative Mike Waltz.
