Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s political action committee (PAC) reported that it raised $11 million just six hours after Kennedy announced his independent candidacy for president.
"Within six hours of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr’s announcement of his decision to run as an Independent, more than $11,000,000 in contributions have flooded into the SuperPAC from people of all political persuasions across the country," read a statement posted on its official website.
In total, American Values 2024 detailed that so far it has raised more than $28,000,000 since its founding at the end of 2022. "It’s clear that Bobby is inspiring a populist movement that unites left and right, black, and white, rural and urban, young and old," said Tony Lyons, co-founder of the American Values PAC.
"Millions of independent-minded Americans are seeing through the most powerful censorship and propaganda campaign against any candidate in American political history. They are angry at the DNC for attempting to disenfranchise them, eager to support an honest Democrat and more open than ever before in American history to an Independent and honest candidate," Lyons added.
In addition, as detailed by Lyons, they are also seeking the support of Elon Musk for the candidacy of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: “If somebody like Elon Musk is willing to join the fight, he’s a very big guy in the playground fight,” he commented in an interview with Politico.

The Republican Party issued a statement in which it ensures that Kennedy Jr. still embraces the Democratic agenda. "Make no mistake – a Democrat in Independent’s clothing is still a Democrat," said Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
