The United States (USMNT) qualified for the CONCACAF Nations League semifinals after defeating Jamaica 4-2 in the second leg of the quarterfinals at CITYPARK in St. Louis, Missouri, for a 5-2 aggregate score.

The national team coached by Argentinean Mauricio Pochettino -who scored his second win in his second official game in charge of the team- won thanks to a brace from Christian Pulisic and goals from Ricardo Pepi and Timothy Weah. Demarai Gray's two goals for the visitors narrowed the gap on the scoreboard.

The USMNT were far superior to Jamaica: they had more possession and had more and better chances to score.

Pochettino's men now await their semi-final opponents. The play-offs will be played in March next year.
