The Kansas City Chiefs are the fan favorites to win the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers. This was revealed in a Rasmussen Reports survey that explained that singer and fan Taylor Swift may also attract fans to tune into the championship game.

"The Kansas City Chiefs – and their celebrity fan Taylor Swift – are favorites to win Sunday’s Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers," the poll stated.

The survey revealed that 62% of American adults said they are likely to watch Super Bowl LVIII, including 39% who say they are very likely to watch the game.

As explained by Rasmussen Reports, the survey of 1,070 adults was conducted from January 31 to February 1 and 4, 2024. The margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points with a confidence level of 95%.

However, most of the coaches consulted by the media outlet The Athletic agree that the San Francisco 49ers have everything they need to win this Sunday.

"If the 49ers win, surely someone associated with their team will claim no one gave them a chance. It won’t be a huge stretch, despite oddsmakers favoring the 49ers, because so many people in and around the game are picking the Chiefs," explained Mike Sando, a columnist specializing in the NFL.

Similarly, another article from The Athletic revealed that Patrick Mahomes is the favorite to win the Super Bowl’s Most Valuable Player award. "Mahomes is +140 on BetMGM to win the award for a third time.”
