Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard ordered the firing of all agency employees involved in controversial sexually explicit secret chats which were revealed on Monday.

According to Christopher Rufo, the investigator who revealed the messages along with his partner Hannah Grossman, Gabbard is preparing a memo directing all Intelligence agencies across the country to identify employees who participated in the "obscene, pornographic, and sexually explicit" chat rooms of the NSA for immediate dismissal while their security clearances are revoked.

On X, Gabbard confirmed the move: "Memo sent. We know who they are. Action is underway."

Explicit chats about sex-change operations

On Monday, in a report for City Journal, Rufo and Grossman revealed that NSA employees used internal chats to discuss topics outside of their jobs during work hours. Among the topics discussed were sex reassignment surgeries, castration and polyamorous relationships.

According to internal documents revealed by sources within the agency, including a current employee, the controversial conversations occurred on the Intelink messaging platform despite the fact that the NSA prohibits the use of these channels for purposes unrelated to official jobs or missions.

Likewise, experiences about sex change surgeries, hormone effects and sexual practices were also described in the chats.

One employee, for example, claimed that the sex change operation allowed him "to wear leggings or bikinis without having to wear a gaff under it.”

Others talked about laser hair removal and estrogen treatments with an overtly personal tone.

Even as an official work channel, the chats also revolved around polyamory, with NSA employees detailing the structure of their multiple relationships.
