Voz News anchor and executive director Karina Yapor interviewed constitutional lawyer Gualberto García Jones in the newscast about the examination being conducted by the U.S. Supreme Court on birthright citizenship.
"I think it was Justice Alito who mentioned that much of the problem we have here is political, in that the authorities of the Joe Biden administration were not implementing the immigration laws, which has created an unprecedented problem in this massive undocumented migration and that in the past they simply turned a blind eye and did not have to emphasize the fact of defining precisely this. Now what the judges will do is an internal process of debate among themselves where they will try to form as broad a majority as possible. For this case I think that by June or early July we will see a ruling, I think it will be a decision 5 to 4 or 6 to 3 maximum.
