There are several states destined to be key in the November elections. Two of them are Arizona and North Carolina, where according to the polls, Donald Trump would beat Kamala Harris by a slim margin that could mean his return to the White House.

According to a survey by Emerson College Polling/RealClearWorld, the Republican candidate is projected 50% of the vote in Arizona, to 47% for the Democrat.

In 2020, Trump achieved 49.1% support, 0.3% less than the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris ticket, while in 2016 he got 48.7%, so his trend in The Grand Canyon State was upward.

On the other hand, according to the poll, the Republican challenger would take 49% of the vote in North Carolina, compared to 48% for Harris.

Trump won in 2020 in North Carolina, taking 49.9% of the vote, 1.3% more than the Biden-Harris tandem. Four years earlier, the Republican candidate had the support of 49.8% of the electorate.

In view of the percentage and numerical differences (a few tens of thousands of votes), Arizona and North Carolina are destined to be two key states to define who will be the 47th president of the United States.
