Hunter Biden's lawyer slams MTG for sexually explicit photos she showed in Congress
Abbe Loweell demanded that an "immediate" review of the Georgia representative's conduct be initiated.
Hunter Biden's attorney filed an ethics complaint against Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene for showing sexually explicit photos of the president's son during a congressional hearing.
In the letter addressed to the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) Abbe Lowell, attorney Abbe Lowell, said the Republican representative's behavior was "abhorrent" and "blatantly violates House Ethics rules and standards of official conduct" and called for an "immediate" review of Taylor Greene's conduct.
"If the OCE takes its responsibilities seriously, it will promptly and decisively condemn and discipline Ms. Greene for her latest actions. Now more than ever, the House has a duty to make loud and clear that it does not endorse, condone, or agree with her outrageous, undignified conduct and brazen violations of the standards of official conduct that do not reflect creditably on the House of Representatives," the text states.
Although the photographs had frames to censor body parts and faces of those involved, Hunter Biden's face was perfectly visible. Taylor Greene showed the footage during the committee hearing into suspicions that the president's son paid prostitutes.
"When Hunter Biden paid for this woman to do this with him (...), this is a violation of the Mann Act. This was prostitution," Greene said while showing the photographs and assuring that they served as evidence.
However, Hunter Biden's attorney claims that instead of giving credibility to the testimony of the IRS agents who were participating in that hearing, what Greene did was "use the power of her office to generate some clicks online, fundraise, and provide sensationalist clips for Fox News at the expense of harassing and embarrassing Mr. Biden, a private citizen."
