The entrepreneur tweeted that he will step down as CEO of Twitter "as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job!"

Elon Musk announced Tuesday that he will step down as CEO of Twitter after two months in the role. Musk posted a poll on his account Sunday asking whether or not he should stay on as CEO and assured that he would heed to the results.  There were 17,502,391 people who voted, and the Twitter community had no doubts: 57.5% of voters called for Elon Musk to step down as CEO while just 42.5% wanted him to remain.
