The conservative presenter's final program was last Friday.

Fox News Channel announced Monday that it will no longer work with anchor Tucker Carlson. In a short statement, Fox News Media broke the news. "We thank him for his service to the network as a presenter and previously as a collaborator," reads the network's text.

NEW YORK - April 24, 2023 - FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a presenter and previously as a contributor.

The last program of Mr. Carlson was on Friday, April 21. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET beginning tonight as an interim program hosted by rotating FOX News personalities until a new anchor is named.

Tucker Carlson's last show on Fox was last Friday, April 21. It is not officially known who will replace Carlson at the conservative news channel. Carlson's departure comes less than a week after Fox agreed to pay $787.5 million to Dominion Voting Systems to settle the election software company's defamation lawsuit.

Carlson was the channel's star presenter until now. The commentator has not yet made any statements about what his future might be. His last tweet is from Friday night.

Within minutes of learning of Carlson's departure, the Fox media corporation's stock market value plummeted by as much as 5.4%. The total value of the fall is estimated to be $690 million. According to several voices, many viewers will stop watching Fox News. After a short time, the fall slowed and the stock recovered, mitigating the day's losses of around 3.2%.
