Jake Paul, YouTuber-turned-boxer, and Anthony Joshua, one of the best boxers of the 21st century, will face off in the ring next month in one of the most anticipated fights in recent years.

The news was confirmed by both contenders, who will face each other in the heavyweight class on Dec. 19 at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

"Yes, it's real," Paul commented on social media. Joshua claimed that his rival is "loco," using colloquial slang. They also released the official poster for the event.

The fight will consist of eight rounds of three minutes each.

Joshua, born in Watford, United Kingdom, on Oct. 15, 1989, has a record of 28 victories (25 by knockout) in 32 fights. In addition, he won the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics and the silver medal at the 2011 IBA World Boxing Championship, both in the super heavyweight category.

Paul, born in Cleveland, on Jan. 17, 1997, started out as an internet celebrity and YouTuber. Subsequently, he made a career leap into boxing. Last year, he fought against Mike Tyson at one of the exhibitions that will be most remembered. Also he measured himself against former Mexican champion Julio César Chávez Jr.

Those not attending the Kaseya Center will be able to watch the Joshua-Paul bout via Netflix.
