After being kicked out of Twitter in 2021, after the January 6 episode at the Capitol, Donald Trump decided to create his own social network, which he named Truth Social. There, he was able to communicate with his followers from all over the world, something that intensified once he entered the Republican primaries for president. Not to be outdone, Joe Biden's campaign decided to create an account, claiming that it will be "very funny.”

Under the name Biden-Harris HQ, the current president's re-election campaign posted its first message on Truth Social: "Well. Let's see how this goes. Converts welcome!"

To give the account more attention, they made a formal announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter. "We just joined Truth Social, mostly because we thought it would be very funny. Follow us there for truths and retruths or whatever they call them,” they said.

Trump's welcome: "Congratulations Joe, at least, on that”

The former president and favorite to win the Republican nomination for president, took the opportunity to welcome Biden to his social network with a post.

"We are heading to World War III because of grossly incompetent leadership, headed by a president that doesn´t have a clue, although he did have the sense to just join Truth, the real voice of america. Congratulations Joe, at least on that!" Trump wrote.

So far, the Republican and the Democrat are the favorites to win the nominations of their respective parties for 2024, since both are voters’ first choices. So far, according to the latest polls, Trump will beat Biden in a hypothetical rematch.
