Jon Voight lashes out at Biden and defends Trump: 'This is a civil war'
The renowned actor reflected on American politics and argued that citizens must remember that the United States is a free country, and that freedom is at risk.
Renowned actor Jon Voight said that Joe Biden's government is a "corrupt mob" and maintained that there is a plot against former President Donald Trump. The Oscar winner argued in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Americans are living through a "civil war."
"My fellow Americans, this is a civil war, and this is the time we must stand for truths. If we don’t see this, you, your children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, will all pay the price for this default," Voight said.
The actor stressed that "let us not hide our pride, but allow God’s greatest truths to show the way." In addition, he defended former President Trump and pointed out that, in his opinion, Trump is a man who wants to save the United States. "My only wish is that all can find the truth, that President Trump is a man who wants to save America," Voight said.
Similarly, he criticized the United States' social unrest, pointing out that the system "allows criminals to steal from department stores, and all they say is to watch and not do anything. And this is okay: to sit and allow these monsters to destroy hard-working designers and retailers — my God." Instead of allowing the Biden administration's "manipulation," he says we must remember that the United States has always been a free country, and now that freedom is at risk.
