Joe Biden's lies, exposed one by one by CNN

"Whatever his intentions, whether it’s, you know, foggy memory ... or deliberate embellishment, this is an unfortunate pattern that keeps coming up."

A compilation of lies by Joe Biden shows that the president has a tendency to change facts about his past and lived experiences. Whether intentional, mix-up, or memory problems, Biden's false comments are not occasional and almost always place him at the center of important events.

This week Daniel Dale, a CNN fact-checker, exposed Biden's "unfortunate pattern" of "making up or embellishing stories" about his biography during a media outlet segment.

"Whatever his intentions, whether it’s, you know, foggy memory about stuff that’s going on decades ago or deliberate embellishment, this is an unfortunate pattern that keeps coming up again and again with Joe Biden," Dale said.

September 11 Ground Zero

The lastest false claim the president made was on the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. During the speech commemorating the attacks of Al Qaeda, Biden said he remembered that he was at Ground Zero in New York City, the day after the attacks. However, his own autobiography denies it because the text ensures that on September 12, 2001, Biden was at the Capitol.

"[Biden] went nine days after the attack.  September 20th, 2001, when he went with a bipartisan delegation of senators," explained the fact-checker, noting that misrepresenting that type of data is of paramount importance.

"Some people might say, oh, okay, you know, he was there, you know... Just days... maybe he forgot. But look, it’s 9/11. It’s sensitive. He’s speaking to military and first responders. So, I think the facts matter.”

The collapse of a bridge in Pittsburgh

In another speech, the president claimed that in 2022 he witnessed the collapse of a Pittsburgh bridge even though it actually collapsed several hours before Biden visited the city.

The death of his grandfather

Biden also said his grandfather died a few days before he was born at the same hospital. However, Dale assures that this is not true and that in reality his grandfather died more than a year before and it was not in the same hospital. In fact, he passed away in a different state.

Conversation with an Amtrak driver

Biden has repeatedly said he had a conversation with his friend, an Amtrak train conductor, and that he congratulated him on traveling 1.2 million miles on Air Force Two. However, this could not have happened since the man had already died when Biden recorded this number of miles.

Arrested at a protest

According to the president, in the past, he was arrested during a civil rights protest, but in other versions, he himself has claimed that an officer simply took him home after the demonstration.

The visit to the Pittsburgh synagogue

Biden said he visited the synagogue where worshippers were killed in a mass shooting in 2018 and even said he spoke with a rabbi. But once again the fact-checker denied it and assured that the president never visited.

Driving an 18-wheeler

The president also said he used to drive an 18-wheeler, but again, this didn't happen either.

Although Dale mentioned several of the lies that the president has told, the truth is that other false statements have been recorded. Such as the time he claimed that he taught political theory for four years at the University of Pennsylvania, which once again, never happened.

"When you lie about small things you lie about big things. If Biden can’t stop fabricating inane personal stories, imagine the whoppers he's told about Burisma, Hunter, Ukraine, MBNA, China, etc.," American conservative activist and radio host Charlie Kirk said after the CNN segment.
