Miles Morales / Spider-Man: student of African-American and Hispanic descent. His mother is Puerto Rican and appeared in “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.”
Jaime Reyes / Blue Beatle: DC will introduce its first Hispanic superhero protagonist in August 2023. Of Mexican descent, Jaime Reyes will be played by actor Xolo Maridueña.
America Chavez / Miss America: Young Puerto Rican America Chavez first appeared in the MCU in “Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.” The character will gain more prominence in other films over the next few years.
Jessica Cruz / Green Lantern: the Mexican superheroine also has Honduran roots and is part of the Green Lantern Corps and the Justice League. The character is based on Spanish actress Penélope Cruz.
Robbie Reyes / Ghost Rider: The young Mexican mechanic Robbie Reyes is the one who hides behind Ghost Rider's skull. The antihero appeared during the fourth season of “Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
Gaucho: a character that has only appeared in DC comic books. His first appearance was in “The Batman” and he was presented as a superhero with the mission of protecting the Argentinian city of Buenos Aires.
Roberto DaCosta / Sunspot: one of the most unknown characters of the X-Men, he appeared in several of the company's movies. In the comics, the superhero was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and played soccer with his mutant parents. In the movies, the backstory was omitted.
Aztec, “The Ultimate Man”: a superhero who debuted in 1996. That year, the comic book line “The Ultimate Man” decided to introduce Aztec, a DC superhero chosen to be the champion of the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl and confront his enemy, the god Tezcatlipoca.
