Trump claims that Zelensky does not want to end the war in Ukraine, while the Ukrainian president once again accuses his allies of failing to provide advance warning of a Russian ballistic missile attack
Marcos Rubio denied that there had been "any pause" in the exchange of information with Kyiv and urged Zelensky to "focus" on "ending" the conflict.

Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy discuss matters in the Oval Office
Donald Trump once again launched a harsh attack against his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, whom he accused of not wanting to end the war with Russia. For his part, the Ukrainian president again accused his allies of failing to warn them in advance of Moscow's launch of a barrage of ballistic missiles against Ukrainian territory, while Rubio insisted that there has been "no pause" in the exchange of information with Kyiv and urged Zelensky to "focus" on "ending" the conflict.
In a post on his Truth Social account, the US president noted that his Ukrainian counterpart "doesn’t want to end this war, and probably never did." Trump claimed that Zelensky "He could have made a better deal two years ago than he can now. His country is in shambles, a large portion of his land is lost, his oceans and seas are gone, and his male population is low, wounded, and/or dead. I WANT THIS WAR END!"
Trump points to the money Ukraine receives from Europe and that Biden gave it
Something that, according to the Republican, is happening thanks to "all of the money that Europe is famously giving him, and that Crooked Joe Biden gave him in the past." Trump once again accused Zelensky of exploiting this funding to prolong the war and harm the citizens of the countries that support him through his attacks on Russian refineries, which, according to the U.S. president, are the cause of the continuous rises in energy prices worldwide.
"Zelenskyy is using Diesel Refineries in Russia as a target, knowing that these attacks are seriously hurting the world diesel markets, including those in the United States. Farmers, ranchers, and businesses of all kinds are suffering greatly from this, but Russia is, nevertheless, sending, at a low price, millions of barrels of diesel to the World. Zelenskyy doesn’t care."

Furthermore, Trump emphasized that Putin "is doing very little, if anything, to help the Islamic Republic of Iran, compared to what they could be doing, and I want to keep it that way, and will, unless stupid people get in the way."
The US president also noted that progress is being made in the ongoing peace negotiations to end the conflict sparked by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and "don’t want to do anything that will drive, foolishly, Russia away from the bargaining table. Great progress is being made, and that includes current hostage negotiations! Signing that document at this time will do that, and I can sign it later, or any time that I want!
Zelenskyy again accuses his allies of failing to give advance warning of a Russian attack
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denounced on Monday that, "once again," his country received "no warning" from its partners before the Russian ballistic missile attacks early Monday morning.
"There was another Russian ballistic missile attack in several waves overnight and, once again, there was no prior warning from our partners," the Ukrainian leader stated on X, where he noted that the Russians launched 16 ballistic missiles at Kyiv and the surrounding region.
">Another Russian ballistic missile attack came in several waves overnight, and once again, there was no early warning from our partners. They again targeted energy facilities and infrastructure, but a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and ordinary residential buildings were also damaged. In total, the Russians launched 16 ballistic missiles in a deliberate attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The Russians also launched more than 200 drones of various types, including jet-powered “shaheds,” with attacks spanning from the Kharkiv and Dnipro regions to the Volyn, Rivne, and Odesa regions. Sadly, there are casualties. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Those who were injured are receiving assistance. Overnight and this morning, Russia attacked energy facilities in the Vinnytsia, Volyn, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Odesa, and Rivne regions. In this one night alone, more than 10 energy infrastructure facilities were damaged, and the lights went out for at least 550,000 families. Repair crews are working at the sites. Ukraine never wanted this war, and we have welcomed literally EVERY attempt by our partners to bring this war to a dignified end. We have responded positively to EVERY ceasefire proposal. Russia's response, time and again, has been ballistic missiles, “shaheds,” and killings. Putin not only doesn't want to end this war – he doesn't even want to take any steps toward de-escalation. EVERY ONE of our partners has experienced this firsthand when they heard Russia's refusals. And it is crucial to call things what they are. To call the aggressor an aggressor and help Ukraine defend lives. When deliveries of missiles for Ukraine's air defense are blocked while Russia is granted relief or delays in sanctions, this is, unfortunately, a denial of reality on the part of our partners. The reality is that the war continues, and it continues solely because of Russian strikes and Russia's desire to drag this war out. I thank everyone who recognizes this reality and helps Ukraine!

Last week, Kiev claimed that the United States had not warned it of similar attacks, leaving people with no time to take cover.
