A vehicle crashed into an SUV in President Joe Biden's Secret Service motorcade. The president was answering questions from the press when he was interrupted by the accident. Authorities detailed that they have no reason to think that the event was a security threat.

Secret Service spokesman Steve Kopek said the president and first lady were not injured. He also explained that the accident was not intentional.

“Today, at approximately 8:09 p.m., a Secret Service vehicle securing the President’s motorcade route was struck by another vehicle in Wilmington, DE. There was no protective interest associated with this event and the President’s motorcade departed without incident,” Kopek said in a statement reported by CNN.
