Once again a fashion company is involved in a controversy. After Balenciaga's campaign in which it modeled children with toys and erotic items, this time Benetton published via its social network accounts, pictures of two minors in underwear, as an advertisement for its new collection.

The Italian brand has already proceeded to remove the content from its Instagram account, which sexualized children, although some social media users managed to take a screenshot and show it.

Numerous users immediately began to criticize Benetton's campaign, even calling for a boycott of the company:

Benetton, did you learn nothing from the Balenciaga issue? We the people aren't gonna let child sexualization fly!!! Why is this earth infested with pedophiles?!

Another tweeter commented on how disgusted he was to see the photographs:

This is sad and disgusting. We ALL know kids wear underwear. We don't need them photographed in them. Benetton needs to rethink their ad campaigns when it comes to children. This is trying to normalize something that shouldn't be. My heart hurts for the kids in the picture.

The following profiles comments were aimed directly at the parents of the minors for allowing the campaign to proceed with the images of their children solely for monetary reward:

Having done modelling, I know their parents would've had to have been standing on set and approving this. What kind of parent stands there and think this is fine???? They're just thinking of the money and hoping it furthers their careers (for more money).

The Balenciaga case

A little over a month ago, the Spanish firm published a campaign in which different underage girls were seen posing with teddy bears a variety of different bondage sex toys and other items. In addition, there were different glasses of champagne and wine.

Personalities such as Kim Kardashian reconsidered continuing their contractual relationship with Balenciaga as a result of the published campaign. "As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images," the celebrity said.
