Lourdes Ubieta leaves Radio Mambí after George Soros' takeover of the station. The popular Latina broadcaster leaves the company after the tycoon took control of 18 Hispanic radio stations distributed throughout the country.

Ubieta hosted the prime time program Noticias y Más. The political news analysis with a conservative approach will no longer have the voice of the broadcaster, who has decided to change stations after Soros' maneuver.

In declarations to Fox News, the anchorwoman has been blunt: "What is happening here is that they are trying to silence conservative voices. We are very few conservative anchors in Spanish. And they [the Democrats] think they can win the Hispanic vote by taking over these 18 radio stations across the United States".

Soros' Assault on Hispanic Radio Stations

Radio Mambi is one of the stations that has come to be controlled by political strategists who worked for the Obama and Hillary Clinton presidential campaigns. The station is historically linked to Cuban exiles fleeing communism.

With the takeover by the far-left billionaire, Miami's Cuban-American community fears losing one of its conservative sources to another liberal, even Marxist, media outlet that populates an establishment-governed media landscape. Several Republican representatives have also shown their concern about this maneuver.

The purchase of these stations will result in the formation of Latino Media Network, a group controlled by Jess Morales Rocketto, former employee of Hillary for America and the AFL-CIO, and Stephanie Valencia, former Obama White House official. An operation aimed at spreading the 'pro-government' message among a Hispanic public increasingly alienated from the Democratic Party.
