Bitcoin is plummeting. This Friday, the value of the cryptocurrency fell below $60,000, its lowest price since October 2024.
Specifically, at mid-morning the value of bitcoin was $59,770.90, losing 6% in value.
With Donald Trump's return to the White House as president, bitcoin reached a value of almost $110,000.
A year and a half later, the price of bitcoin is almost half that.
