"Kiss, kiss, kiss!" is what the players of the Spanish soccer team chanted on the bus after winning the Women's World Cup. A new video published by the controversial commentator Alvise Pérez shows the scene where Jennifer Hermoso is seen jokingly commenting, along with her teammates, on the kiss or "peck" she had with Luis Rubiales, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

Pérez used Twitter (X) to send a message to the Spanish footballer, who recently broke the silence to deny the statements of Rubiales, who claimed that the kiss was "consensual."

"Why did you show off with your teammates and pose, laughing, with the meme of your peck with Rubiales?" "Why did all your teammates, who now are horrified, shout with you at Rubiales to 'kiss each other' on the bus after seeing the 'peck'?"

The commentator also claimed that Hermoso asked Rubiales for a kiss "as a joke" on the bus but laughed when Luis Rubiales said, "No, I'm ashamed." However, the clip does not show the player making such a request.

In Spain, there's talk of nothing else

Rubiales' kiss to Hermoso has not only overshadowed the celebration of the women's championship win at the World Cup, but it has become the hottest topic of conversation of last week, dividing sides calling for the resignation of the federation president and those who say that all of this is an unnecessary media lynching.

The new video posted by Pérez reignites the debate over whether or not Rubiales' kiss constitutes sexual harassment or assault.

On Friday, August 25, Jenni Hermoso finally spoke out in a statement where she said she felt attacked.

"I clarify that at no time did the conversation to which Mr. Luis Rubiales referred take place and that, far from it, his kiss was consensual. In the same way, I would like to reiterate, as I did at the time, that this was not to my liking, "wrote the footballer.

"The situation caused me a shock due to the context of the celebration, and as time went by and after delving a little deeper into those first feelings, I felt the need to denounce this event, as I believe that no person, in any work, sporting or social environment, should be a victim of this type of non-consensual behavior. I felt vulnerable and a victim of aggression, an impulsive, sexist act, out of place and without any type of consent on my part," she continued.

However, some question Hermoso's version, such as journalist Javier Negre of Estado de Alarma, who published a video on Twitter where the player is seen joking with Rubiales in the locker room about a trip to Ibiza.

"After being sexually assaulted by Rubiales, Jennifer decided to appear with him to joke about their wedding and to celebrate an all-expenses paid trip to Ibiza by the Federation. The rest of the teammates leave. It's all happiness. Until radical feminism and Yolanda Díaz f* it all up."

The kiss controversy intensified after Rubiales spoke to the media and stated openly that he would not resign as president of the Federation.

"I'm going to defend myself and whoever knows me knows I'm going to go all the way. This campaign (against me) does not respond to truth or justice," Rubiales said.

After that press conference, the debate became even more polarized, and FIFA, a day later, decided to suspend the president of the RFEF for at least 90 days while an open investigation is resolved.

In addition to the suspension, FIFA also banned Rubiales and his subordinates from contacting Jenni Hermoso and her entourage.
