Argentine President Javier Milei invited Pope Francis to visit Argentina on the dates he wants to schedule. Through a letter, the Office of the Argentine President sent his proposal to the Vatican and thanked the pope for the advice he gave him on the day he won the presidential election:
Milei reiterated to Pope Francis the importance that his visit would have, that it would help "unite Argentines," at a time when "there are divisions and confrontations" and in which "our economy is at a critical moment and that urgent measures must be adopted to avoid a social catastrophe with painful consequences."
