WhatsApp users will now be able to edit the messages you send. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta - WhatsApp's parent company - announced this new feature through his Facebook profile:

You can now edit your WhatsApp messages up to 15 minutes after they're sent!

The application, which has around 2 billion users worldwide, will allow you to edit messages to correct spelling mistakes or add words you have missed. After the 15 minutes have elapsed, you will no longer be able to modify them.

To edit your messages on Apple devices, you will need to hold your finger on them and select the "Edit" option. On Android, this function will appear at the top of your device.
